The student must enrol in and pass 3 optional subjects (18 credits) of those offered: MIDI Orchestration, Introduction to Middleware, Website Creation, Music and Emotion, Instrumental Practice, Foley, Work Placement and Sound Creation Lab.

Access Requirements

In addition to meeting the minimum access requirements for the University Degree in Music Production and Sound for the Entertainment Industry, it is necessary to pass a musical level test in order to enrol. Students who can prove they have a Professional Music Degree are exempt from the test.

The university Degree qualification in Music Production and Sound for the Entertainment Industry enables the graduate to:

Focusing on clients from all sectors who need musical and/or sound productions, ranging from the direction of the entire creative and executive process to the participation of professionals from the fields of music and sound production (composition, design, recording, mixing and mastering or their implementation in interactive media). From musical artists who need guidance to carry out their projects, to the provision of specific services in collaborative projects or as part of the human team in companies/studios dedicated to the recording, production or management of musical content. 

A versatile profile, who is familiar with the relevant disciplines such as music composition, post-production sound, the production chain, intellectual property, content publishing and exploitation, as well as sound integration into interactive environments.
