  • Full-time study load:
    • One semester: 30 ECTS credits (approximately 750 hours)
    • Full academic year: 60 ECTS credits (approximately 1,500 hours)

Credit Transfer and Recognition

EUNEIZ ensures that the credits you earn are recognized by your home university, in line with your Learning Agreement. A Transcript of Records will be provided at the end of your study period.

At EUNEIZ, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive support to help our incoming exchange students feel at home. We assist students in finding suitable accommodation, whether in university residences or private housing options. Our university residences offer comfortable living spaces, but availability is limited, so we recommend applying early. For those interested in private housing, we provide assistance in finding apartments or shared accommodations to suit various preferences and budgets.

To help you settle into your new environment, we offer an orientation program at the beginning of each semester. This program includes campus tours, introductions to our academic facilities, meetings with faculty and staff, and engaging cultural activities such as city tours. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow students and become familiar with the university and the vibrant city of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

We also offer a range of student support services to enhance your academic and personal experience. Our academic advisors are available to assist with course selection and any academic matters you might have. We provide confidential counseling services for personal and psychological support. Additionally, we offer Spanish language courses at various levels to help improve your language skills. You’ll have access to our libraries, computer labs, and study spaces to support your studies.

EUNEIZ is committed to ensuring that all students have equal access to education and campus facilities. We offer accessibility and disability support services, including personalized assistance, accessible facilities, and assistive technologies. If you have specific needs, please reach out to our International Office, and we’ll be happy to discuss how we can support you.

Our International Office provides assistance to non-EU students navigating the visa application process. We can offer guidance on required documentation and timelines.

All incoming exchange students are required to have comprehensive health insurance coverage for the duration of their stay in Spain. For EU/EEA students, the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is necessary to access medical services. Non-EU students must obtain private health insurance valid in Spain, ensuring it covers medical expenses, emergencies, and repatriation if needed. Proof of insurance is required during the application process. If you have any questions about health insurance requirements, our International Office is here to provide detailed information.

Visa and immigration requirements depend on your nationality. EU/EEA students do not require a visa and can enter Spain with a valid passport or ID card. Non-EU students are required to apply for a student visa (Type D) before arriving in Spain. This process involves contacting the Spanish embassy or consulate in your home country, providing necessary documents—including your acceptance letter from EUNEIZ—and starting the application early due to varying processing times. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for personalized assistance and detailed information.

Your well-being is our utmost priority at EUNEIZ. We have comprehensive measures in place to ensure you feel safe and supported during your time with us. Our campus security team is always available to assist you, and local emergency services are easily accessible if needed. We provide access to local clinics and hospitals for any health concerns, and our International Office is ready to offer assistance and guidance. We are committed to maintaining a healthy environment by following all government health guidelines, including sanitation protocols and safety measures. Should you have any questions or need detailed information about health and safety procedures, please do not hesitate to contact us.
