At EUNEIZ, we believe in the power of sport as a driving force for self-improvement, camaraderie, and university pride. That’s why we have teams that represent our university in various disciplines and university competitions at the regional, national, and international levels.
From internal tournaments to potential participation in Spanish or international championships, our teams and athletes have the opportunity to compete while pursuing their studies at our university. Furthermore, we promote active student participation, both in terms of participation and by fostering a competitive spirit in a healthy and educational environment.

EUNEIZ’s internal competitions are the perfect meeting point to enjoy sports, build teamwork, and experience university life from the inside. They are open to all students and offer a fun and healthy way to stay active, meet people, and relieve daily stress.
Tournaments and leagues can be organized in different sports disciplines, both individual and team-based, adapted to all levels.

This championship is held between February and March on a rotating basis between EHU/UPV, University of Deusto, EUNEIZ and Mondragon Unibertsitatea, being played in Araba, Bizkaia or Guipuzkoa depending on the organizer.
In the 2025/26 academic year, the organization will be the responsibility of the University of the Basque Country and the headquarters will be in the Historical Territory of Bizkaia.
This competition determines who qualifies for the Spanish Championships in team sports, which will take place in different parts of the country between March and June.
In some cases, since internal championships are not organized, an open call is issued to students to try to form teams and have representation in all categories.
The Spanish University Championships (CEU) are organized by the Higher Sports Council and are held between April and May at different universities in the State.

The Spanish University Championships (CEU) are organized by the Higher Sports Council and are held between April and May at different universities in the State.
Cross-border championship between universities in southern France (Aquitaine) and Spanish universities, in which a hundred athletes participate representing universities, both national and international, and which has great relevance in the world of Basque Pelota.
