EUNEIZ University is the only university in Spain to have its own record label, a unique initiative within the Spanish university landscape. This initiative, born from a commitment to innovation and a practical approach, integrates theoretical training with real-world experience in the music industry. The University of Vitoria-Gasteiz offers students, professionals, and researchers affiliated with the institution the opportunity to actively participate in the creation, production, publication, and distribution of music within an academic environment, using a professional label managed by the university itself. This structure allows for practical, immersive training aligned with the real-world dynamics of the music and entertainment sectors.
Under the name EUNEIZ Rekords, this record label of EUNEIZ University, driven by the Music Department, was created as a platform to showcase emerging musical projects and facilitate the transition between academic training and artistic professionalization. The label prioritizes the release of innovative projects in the field of contemporary music, encompassing everything from electronic pop to sonic experimentation, with a special focus on productions generated within the university’s recording studios. In its first year of operation (2025–2026), EUNEIZ Rekords will release a series of works developed through external collaborations, launch concerts, and digital distribution strategies.
