EUNEIZ University has decided to go one step further with its commitment to create a space for knowledge and the exchange of ideas that is open to everyone. As part of this commitment, EUNEIZ Irratia was created, a university initiative to share innovative ideas and educational content. “We want to generate debate and contribute our vision, that of the EUNEIZ community, which is made up of teachers and students, on issues that we believe are of interest to many citizens”, says the academic director of the Degree in Music and Sound Production and head of EUNEIZ Irratia, Norberto Bayo.
So, EUNEIZ Irratia is launching today with four podcasts dedicated to health, videogames and technological challenges. The programmes of this online radio station, ranging from science to art, offer a window into the world of education, entertainment and reflection. “It is a unique platform for students to share their passions and knowledge with the world”, insists the head of university radio. This first season will consist of three episodes of each of the podcasts, which will be released fortnightly on the university’s Spotify channel between May and June 2024.
In the inaugural episode of the podcast ‘’Not everything is lettuce‘’, Health and Movement, students from the Physiotherapy degree, together with guest lecturer Noe Labata, explore the intersection between health and movement, offering practical advice and inspirational reflections on how to stay fit and healthy.
In episode 1 of the “Nerd on Air” podcast, Hot Line Miami, videogame fans will enjoy an in-depth look at Hot Line Miami. Students of the degree in Videogame Art, with the expert reflection of guest lecturers Koldo Gutierrez Larrañaga and Carlos Díaz, unravel the mysteries and excitement of this acclaimed game.
In episode 1 of the “Tech Travelers” programme, AI and Gender Bias, students from the cybersecurity degree, with an interview with the university’s rector, offer a fascinating insight into the intersection between technology and society, addressing current issues such as Artificial Intelligence and gender bias.
Finally, the ‘Hangover in the Mushroom Kingdom’ podcast offers a ‘feast’ for videogame lovers in its first session ‘The Preview’. Students from the videogame design and development degree “introduce us to a teaser full of fun and anticipation, offering an exclusive look at what’s to come in the world of gaming”.
“These four episodes are now available on our Spotify channel, so we encourage everyone to tune in, discover and join the conversation on EUNEIZ Irratia”, concludes Norberto Bayo.
